Matthew Weiner's domestic and international background and on-the-ground experience provide him with insight and perspective within the fast-paced world of commercial real estate, enabling him to identify strategies, utilize a wide network of contacts, and add tangible value to his clients' transactions.

Mr. Weiner's primary practice areas are commercial real estate development, construction, financing, leasing, acquisition, disposition, management, syndication, and cross-border real estate transactions. His clients include local and regional residential developers and homebuilders, local, regional and international commercial real estate developers, owners and investors, local and regional banks, and a hospital system. Mr. Weiner affiliated with WSWGS after serving as in-house counsel for a regional shopping center developer, external counsel for a regional construction company and industrial developer, acquisitions director of a European private equity fund, and director of one of the largest residential real estate companies in Moscow, Russia. He has more than 20 years of experience as a transactional attorney and has served as the lead counsel in a number of major transactions in Georgia. He chose Savannah as his home because of his love of the Low Country lifestyle. Mr. Weiner is married to Julie Weiner and they have one child.

Mr. Weiner received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, and is a member of the Savannah Bar Association. He is also the founder and Co-Manager of the East West Alliance group of companies (EWA), which brings foreign investment partners to domestic real estate projects. EWA has completed projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. EWA's most recent project, Thunderbird, is a 25-acre waterfront urban infill project on an iconic site in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
